Are you an unpaid carer looking after a loved one? As a carer myself, I understand the pressure that comes with caring. Not just the stress, but the guilt when you reach breaking point and ‘snap’ at the person you are caring for. There is no shame in this. We are still human, even though we are asked to be superhuman.
Talking to someone who knows what you are going through can help. It can act as a pressure valve, address any trauma you maybe carrying, that makes certain situations difficult to navigate, and provide awareness and options for trying something different, and less bruising.
Experiencing a compassionate relationship in therapy can lead to more self compassion and enabling you to turn up for your loved one as yourself and not as someone just trying to survive.
But therapy is not cheap, and time for yourself comes at a premium, when you’re a carer; I know.
That is why I am offering carers 30 minutes of therapy for just £20.
If you can find 30 minutes for yourself, then please contact me and let’s make life better together.
You don’t even need to leave your loved one, as session are conducted online.
You can reach me at jubriel@jubrielhanid.com, or on 07542 440211 and please take good care of yourself.
